hammer.Spur trigger. Brass frame with address on sideplate. Varnished rosewoodgrips.
Condition: Excellent for this model. Barrel retaining approximately 85-90% fi nish with
minor fl aking and brown patinapresent. Frame and gripstrap with traces of silver fi nishremaining in protected areas, the remaining area with light patina.Hammer retaining
faded case-hardening. Grips excellent. Action excellent.
Notes:This unique pepperbox features a breech that rotates with theloading gate that
acts as a safety; a removable ejectorrod is mounted in the center of the barrel cluster.Several hundred of this model were manufactured after the CivilWar.
